Salvestrol

This substance has been found to occur naturally in fruits and vegetables. Its function in these plants, their fruits and roots, is to suppress fungus and mold growth. There are over 39 known Salvestrols each with different potencies rated in "points." It is known that Resveratrol interferes with the action of this supplement. 

This formulation of 510mg capsules contains concentrated fruit extracts in a blend enhanced with four Salvestrol compounds. Each bottle contains 90 Salvestrol 2000 point capsules.

What is it?

Each capsule of Salvestrol Platinum 2000 contains: Citrus bioflavonoids (Fruit - Citrus reticulata, Citrus aurantiifolia, Citrus sinensis, Citrus limon ) ... 75 mg; Grape seed extract (Seed - Vitis vinifera) ... 75 mg (5:1, QCE 375 mg); Winter Squash (Fruit - Curcurbita maxima) ... 75 mg (5:1, QCE 375 mg). Each capsule provides 2000 salvestrol points.

According to the manufacturer:

"Salvestrols are plant derived compounds (phytonutrients) essential for wellbeing that cannot be made in the body and must therefore be supplied through our diet. As a group, they are chemically unrelated substances except for the similar manner in which they confer their benefits, that is, as a result of their action with a particular family of enzymes. These enzymes are present only in malfunctioning cells and when they encounter a salvestrol they convert it into a form which is toxic to the sick cell. Because the enzyme is not present in healthy cells the Salvestrols exert no ill effects on them...

This formulation of 510mg capsules contains concentrated natural fruit extracts with an enhanced blend of both the hydrophilic and lipophilic salvestrols present in Salvestrol Professional and Gold plus two newer, more selective salvestrols. Each capsule contains 2000 Salvestrol points"

Cautions

Use caution if pregnant or nursing. Inhibitors include carbon monoxide (cigarette smoke,) fungicides, higher dose resveratrol, and laetrile. Orally, it may cause mild nausea or a laxative effect.

Suggested Use: For regular dietary supplementation, to face a previous health challenge, or if you have been identified as a person at risk use one Salvestrol Platinum 2000 capsule per day (with a meal). If confronting a serious health challenge use a minimum of three capsules (two at breakfast and one at lunch). If there is no effect at the recommended starting dose increase the daily intake gradually until the dosage is doubled. Consult a healthcare professional for advice.
