Mode of action There are cellular structures that are able to absorb specific wavelengths of light (colors) (so-called photoreceptors). The light stimulus triggers cell signals that influence chemical behavior, metabolism, movement and gene expression. All enzymes and/or proteins involved are affected by this process.

Concentrated Plant Power: PhotoActive+   Chlorophyll is commonly known as the pigment of green plants. Phycocyanin is the blue pigment that gives cyanobacteria (e.g. spirulina) their typical blue color.   PhotoActive+ contains the isolated form of chlorophyllin and phycocyanin to ensure high ingredient concentrati-on and high efficiency. Most common preparations contain no more than 10% phycocyanin per capsule (equivalent to about 40-50 mg/capsule). By processing the pure active ingredient itself, each of our capsules contains an amount of 270 mg phycocyanin!   Since chlorophyll is not water soluble, PhotoActive+ contains two water soluble forms of the green plant pigment. This special formulation allows us to ensure the greatest possible bioavailability.   Phycocyanin is water-soluble, but we weren't satisfied with that yet and have developed the world's first liposomally bound phycocyanin! The liposomal formulation changes the structure of the active ingredient so that it can be even better absorbed by the body. In protection of the vesicle, the active ingredient is sheltered against premature metabolization and is transported to where it is needed. Combine the Watch and PhotoActive+ and take advantage of the photodynamic benefits   To achieve a photodynamic effect, simply combine the Laser Watch with light-sensitive substances such as PhotoActive+. Both chlorophyll and phycoyanin react to light. PhotoActive+ can therefore be taken as an oral photosensitizer as part of photodynamic therapy (PDT). Chlorophyll absorbs red light (620-660 nm) The absorption spectrum of phycocyanin is at a wavelength between 580 and 660 nm (red light).
